Competencies, Skills, and Knowledge: The EMS Station Manager will be accountable to the incumbents of these positions: In order to minimize death, Emergency Medical Services and will be tasked with transporting patients to an appropriate health facility and providing pre-hospital treatment within the scope of Intermediate Life Support.

Know something about EMS and what it does. Have a basic understanding of medical rescue. have knowledge of the Road Traffic Ordinance’s rules and regulations. Have great relational abilities. be able to effectively manage patients. be able to carry out emergency procedures. be able to work well under pressure. be able to function in any EMS setting, such as an emergency ambulance, an obstetric ambulance, an inter-facility ambulance, a communication center, or a Patient Transport Service, depending on how EMS management allocates or deploys them.


DUTIES : Treat, settle and transport patients as indicated by the Transitional Life Backing
extent of training according to HPCSA Conventions. Respond to all calls that are sent out by the Communication Center or that are made by other medical professionals so that you can help with Intermediate Life Support and the treatment of the patient. Keep up with best clinical practice

Check the assigned vehicle and medical equipment, complete the checklist, and notify the Shift Leader of any losses, damages, or discrepancies. Wash, clean, and disinfect the vehicle’s interior and exterior at all times. Also, keep the vehicle clean and in good working order at all times. Change and recharge careful sundries and clinical gases and guarantee
that all things are utilized before expiry date.

Participate actively in programs for quality assurance and training. Perform any additional responsibilities the supervisor assigns. Up-and-comers are supposed to work shifts, they ought to be intellectually and
