REQUIREMENTS : Applicants should be in a possession of a Grade 12 Certificate. No experience
required. Knowledge of registry duties, practices as properly as the capability to
capture data, and function computer. Working understanding and understanding
of the legislative framework governing the Public Service. Knowledge of
storage and retrieval tactics in phrases of the working environment.
Understanding of the work in registry.

DUTIES : Provide registry counter services. Attend to clients. Handle telephonic and
other enquiries received. Receive and register hand delivered mail / files.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence. Receive all mails. Sort,
register and dispatch mail. Distribute notices on registry issues. Render an
effective filling and report administration service. Opening and shut files
according to document classification system.

Filing / storage, tracing (electronically
/ manually) and retrieval of files and files. Complete index playing cards for all
files. Operate workplace machines in relation to the registry function. Open and
maintain Franking computing device register. Frank post, report money and update
register on each day basis. Undertake spot exams on publish to make certain no private
post is included. Open and keep remittance register.
