The successful candidate for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Director-General Chief Directorate
will be responsible for managing an efficient filing system and flow of documents, providing secretarial support services, compiling minutes/reports, drafting memoranda and any other correspondence, managing diaries of heads of directorates, arranging logistics and related activities for travel, meetings, workshops and conferences as well as purchasing stationery and equipment.

The ideal candidate should possess a Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification with experience in office management and administration. A post-Matric qualification would be advantageous.
Core competencies include client orientation & customer focus; communication; honesty & integrity; planning & organizing; telephone etiquette; computer literacy as well as technical competencies such as office management & administration; secretarial functions & general administration.
