The purpose of this position is to market, sell, and cross-sell Nedbank products In-Branch in order to meet the needs of Retail Business Banking (RBB) clients; to retain and grow client base; to achieve and meet business objectives through identifying and fulfilling client financial needs; as well as providing consistent excellent client service.
Carry out all daily, weekly and monthly sales activities within the branch according to the business unit’s sales strategy. Secure clients’ signatures for final product acceptance when concluding transactions. Enhance performance based on guidance from management.
Get referrals from existing customers or staff members through collaboration. Promote financial products to new/existing customers as well as stakeholders by recognizing their requirements then matching them with appropriate products.
Assist colleagues in other segment (i.e., Relationship & Business Banking) for activating new business opportunities. Develop relationships with customers/stakeholders via regular contact plus getting familiar with them (i.e., I know you strategy).
Address customer queries according to company procedure while keeping them informed throughout the process
Maintain strong client relationships by providing top-notch service, listening to their needs, staying in communication with them, and making things happen for them. Build positive partnerships with customers by being attentive to their wants, posing questions, and exhibiting knowledge of the customer’s business sector.
Address customer requirements by offering financial solutions that are suitable; employ product know-how and provide proactive suggestions. Act as a banking ally to the clientele by taking responsibility for furnishing regular feedback. Keep customers’ full banking relationship through excellent customer service and contact. Plan and execute successful prospecting activities by recognizing potential business prospects or opportunities.
Meet the criteria of product applications by supplying all necessary paperwork. Ensure accuracy of client details at application stage through precise data entry. Execute tasks based on manager’s action plan in order to meet corporate goals. Perform verification process for all applications according to company standards or regulations.
Help managerial sales consolidation through submitting daily sales figures or statistics. Enhance quality of work using managerial advice or recommendations when available/possible/appropriate etc..
Guarantee effective management & control over branch portfolio via examining securities & adhering with FICA & FAIS policies/guidelines etc.. Curb fraudulent activities reporting suspicious transactions to the relevant department promptly (if necessary).
Achieve desired outcomes by providing input to customer financial evaluations, suggesting credit decisions, making sure that security paperwork is completed and sent back to the administrative staff, and verifying banking inquiries and bank codes.
